ASRock is bringing one of their coolest designs to the mid-range segment.
Last month ASRock officially launched its Z790 Sonic motherboard.
This is a special edition of LGA1700 motherboard designed on a license from SEGA.
Those who expected more fruits from this cooperation, will not be disappointed.
ASRock and SEGA are also preparing B760M motherboard with the same design as the Z790 version.
This is a smaller Micro-ATX form factor though, but just as the higher-end model it supports DDR5 and PCIe Gen5 technologies.
It also ships with a Wi-Fi network card, which was not available for the Z790.
What should be said is that both the Z790 and B760M Sonic boards have almost identical I/O and VRM heatsinks.
In fact, it looks like they might have very similar VRM design (for Z790 it was 14+1+1 power stage layout).
The B760M is also powered by dual 8-pin power connectors.
We also have some very first photos of the upcoming Mini-ITX boards based on the B760 chipset from Gigabyte and MSI.
