Exciting news for all you Baldur’s Gate fans out there!
Larian Studios just announced that the highly anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally coming to consoles!
While the game was previously confirmed for PC only, it will now launch on August 31st for PlayStation 5 and PC.
Unfortunately, Xbox fans will have to wait a bit longer for an official announcement.
The announcement was made as part of the PlayStation State of Play event, where a brand new trailer was also unveiled.
The console version will come with split-screen co-op and cross-progression between PC, Mac, and PS5.
So, you can enjoy the game with friends on the big screen or continue your adventure on any device!
But that’s not all!
Larian Studios also revealed a new character for Baldur’s Gate III, General Ketheric Thromthe, who will be voiced by none other than Oscar-winning actor J.K.
Simmons!
Ketheric is one of the three main villains in the game, and Larian Studios wanted to make sure his role was brought to life with the depth and gravitas that only a renowned character actor like J.K.
