Today we have some breaking news regarding Microsoft Outlook, and it’s not good.
Reports have been flooding in from frustrated users who claim their inboxes have been inundated with spam emails for the past nine hours.
And the reason?
Apparently, the email spam filters are currently broken.
Users have taken to social media and Microsoft Community’s website to express their annoyance, with all messages landing in their inboxes, even those that would have been previously tagged as spam and sent to the junk folder.
One user reported receiving a whopping 36 spam emails in just two hours!
And it’s not just one or two isolated incidents, as many others have reported similar experiences.
Some have attempted to resolve the issue by checking the “Only trust email from addresses in my Safe Senders and domains list and Safe mailing lists” in Junk Mail Filters.
However, this seems to be ineffective, with the webmail service’s filtering system completely broken.
