Report: 343 Industries ‘Hit Hard’ By This Week’s Job Cuts At Microsoft.
Earlier today, Microsoft confirmed that plans were in place to reduce the company’s workforce by 10,000 jobs, and it appears as though Halo developer 343 Industries is one of the studios that has suffered quite heavily as a result.
According to early reports from Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, several 343 Industries employees have informed him that the company was “hit hard” by the move, and Studio Head Pierre Hintze reportedly told staff that “we’ve made the difficult decision to restructure elements of our team, which means some roles are being eliminated.”

Halo Infinite’s Head of Creative, Joe Staten, is also said to be leaving 343 Industries to rejoin Xbox Publishing.
