Hey, science and tech enthusiasts!
Are you as excited as I am about Wild Hearts, the new game from Omega Force and EA?
This spin on Monster Hunter takes us to the stunning land of Azuma, a fantastical version of feudal Japan where you’ll be taking down Kemono, the powerful behemoths that have fused with nature.
But, while the game isn’t out until Friday, players who took advantage of EA’s early access have been reporting some serious performance issues, especially on PC.
Reports are showing that the game is struggling to maintain decent performance even on hardware well above EA’s recommended specs, with persistent stutter regardless of settings and resolution.
Even I, playing the Origin version with an RTX 3070 for review, have experienced the same issues.
Thankfully, Omega Force has now released a statement addressing these issues and promising to optimize the game for a wide variety of hardware specs across future updates for all platforms.
They’ve discovered a CPU bottleneck problem and will be releasing a patch next week, and will also introduce DLSS and FSR support in a future update.
